JU 87-B Stuka by Guillow's
This plane was bought and started in Florida when I was staying with my dad, back about 25 years ago.
This plane was losing pieces and hanging around for so long it almost never got built till 20 years later
Free Flight
Engine: Cox .09
Wing Span: 34 1/4"
Covering: Shrinkable silk span and colored dope
Decals: None, all paint
Rear canopy: Nub from the bottom of a 2 liter soda bottle
Rear bottom cowl: Card stock
Scratch built tail wheel
Rear control surfaces are adjustable by copper hinges
All balsa stringers replaced with hard wood stringers
I wanted a three blade prop, but could not find a 1/2 A spinner for it. If anyone knows where I can get one Let me know.
If you noticed the fuzzy lines on the emblem on the right side rudder, that's what happens when you paint dope on enamel. Enamel on dope is OK.

2nd big airplane I ever bought. It sat in a cellar for 30 years, half built and falling apart from dry rot.
Scratch built it using the plans around 2010.
The first big airplane was the Headmaster. Never completed and the only thing saved was the landing gear.
Radio controlled, 4 channel trainer
Engine: .35
Covering: Metallic blue, transparent yellow and white trim Monocoat

PT-40 Trainer by Great Planes
Bought and built the PT-40 around 2004.
No one seems to care for my graphics. At the time Great Plans offered a trainer named the Vista.
I liked the apearence of the plane so I built the PT-40 as close as I could to it.
Radio: JR Max W6C-4SFN PCM/FM System
Engine: OS .40 LA

Someday I want to add the nose camera (mock up), sonar and rescue pods. These will be vacuum formed from .005 plastic.
